Greg and I have been busy in the backyard trying to make it as nice as what we envision it can be. The toughest challenge so far has been the rock! For those of you that haven't been to our house yet the rock was surrounding what used to be an above ground pool. We removed that shortly after moving in and added a patio in its place. Much easier to maintain :) So we wanted to make the area look softer with grass, and luckily we have a gully in the back that was screaming for a dry riverbed. Needless to say Greg and I both agree we NEVER want to shovel rock again!
Thanks to Greg's parents for coming to visit and play with Audrey so we could finish this task. We really appreciate you coming down and had fun hanging out!
Below are a couple of pictures of the yard as it stands now. you can see where the rock used to be and now our new dry riverbed.
