Sunny day at the zoo

The weather was beautiful today so we headed out to the zoo. We got a later start then I wanted, really whats new. So we ran through the first part and stopped for lunch. That made the kids happy and ready to see the animals. You could tell even the animals were happy with the weather today, they were all out soaking up the sun.

And I love feeding him, he will eat anything, but especially loves meat and fruit. So today he dined on hot dog and grapes. Very different from Audrey who could survive on bread, fruit and cheese. Not sure where she gets that from ;)

Can you see the baby Gorilla in it's mama's arms? She was so sweet to watch.

I hate the petting zoo, it's just gross! And thank goodness Audrey doesn't really like to touch the animals too much. Today not at all, since the brushes were all gone and she won't touch them with her bare hands. But let me tell you those were some happy goats today soaking up that warm sun. I mean look at that face, he is HAPPY!

Audrey was happy to ride the train and Carousel with Daddy.

Andrew was happy to sit with mommy and get a bottle while sister rode the rides.

Then happy girl got her wish to play at the "park," that is what she calls the playground.

The slide was full of static!

Love fun family days like these! Hope we get some more warm weekends this winter.
